Welcome to Fit for Life 2018-2019! This class provides information, activities, and experiences to help your child have a healthy lifestyle that will help them in all areas of their life. Your child will be challenged and inspired!
Class Description
This class takes PE and Health to the next level. Students will learn that fitness is a wonderful lifestyle to be experienced and shared with friends and family.
The students will learn:
Classes that will be taught during the semester
Cycle, Cardio Interval, Muscle Conditioning, High Intensity Training Interval
Athletic Conditioning, Kickboxing, Stability Ball, Stretching
Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation/Mindfulness

- How to assess, prepare, and train for exercise.
- Set SMART goals and track progress monthly.
- Develop a deeper understanding of cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, conditioning, and flexibility
- Learn about nutrition information that will motivate students to make healthy choices that will help fuel for energy and fitness gains.
- Participate in activities that will decrease stress through relaxation techniques and breathing.
- Develop leadership and team building skills.
